Find hope and healing through creative expression.
"You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:13-14
We were created for a purpose.
Arts for Recovery is a community of people creating and connecting through the arts, worship and group discussion. Join us as we create art, grow in our faith and do life together. AFR reaches men and women in Southwest Florida who battle addiction and other life challenges.
Group participant Mike says,
"This is a great group for me as I am plugging into new creative outlets. There are many different people who simply want to connect and share their challenges and ideas. We have great conversations about our own journeys through brokenness and how God has brought us healing. Storytellers provides an atmosphere of pressure-free, creative expression. I am truly grateful for everyone involved."
Arts for Recovery is hosted through Facebook, with Saturday morning Zoom online sessions from 10 am to 10:45 am. AFR is a confidential, closed group. Participants are invited by the SCA administrator to join the group. On-site location sessions will commence in the Fall.
