Storytellers is honored to have Kevin Davis on the team of dedicated volunteers who are making a difference in Southwest Florida.
Kevin Davis is one of SCA’s newest volunteers. He is engaged in creating website portal forms for the scheduling of our volunteers for community outreach events. Kevin also facilitates the organization of our supply storage unit and recently volunteered with his family and others during a workday at the Naples Botanical Gardens. Kevin has kept very active with not only volunteering at Storytellers, but with the Boys and Girls Club, and Covenant Church serving on the Production Team. Also, Kevin is working part-time positions at Naples Lake Country Club and SW Generator, Florida.
Kevin graduated from Indiana State University with an engineering technology degree. He spent 40 years as a field technical manager for Ameren, an electric and gas utility based out of St. Louis, Missouri. During this time, one of Kevin’s successes was the supervision of a technical support team. They were involved in the construction and maintenance of smart grid technologies that continue the transformation of the 100-year-old electric grid into a very reliable power source.
"I have always enjoyed giving back and I am blessed to have so many opportunities to do so now through Storytellers. My mission is to equip artists and volunteers with the materials and resources needed to inspire and tell God's story. I am blessed to be a part of the team."
Kevin, wife Alyson, and son Payton relocated to the Naples area from East Central Illinois in 2018. Kevin was active with his church in Illinois and has always allowed God to lead him. Kevin centers his life spiritually through his savior Jesus Christ and has a passion for listening to others, desiring them to feel uplifted. Kevin cherishes spending time with family and friends, bike riding, playing tennis, pickleball, and golf. He and his wife are anxiously looking forward to becoming first-time grandparents this August. Their son Quintin and wife Raquel of Virginia are expecting their first child.
